About the Festival

Two days for seeds, community & resistance

Each March, Reclaim the Seeds Amsterdam brings together hundreds of growers, activists, families, and curious minds at the beautiful Fruituin van West community orchard.

The festival combines our famous seed exchange table, a diverse educational programme of workshops and talks, and a curated market of local growers, makers, and food producers all completely free to attend.

In 2026 our programme features over 20 sessions across 6 spaces, with speakers from Amsterdam and across Europe addressing everything from seed saving to food policy, agroecology, and community resilience.
