Birdability was founded on the belief that birding should be accessible to everyone. For many people with disabilities and other health challenges, participating in outdoor activities like birding can be difficult due to barriers such as inaccessible trails, limited information about accessibility, or a lack of inclusive community practices.
Birdability works to remove these barriers by providing resources, raising awareness, and helping the birding community become more inclusive. Through education, collaboration, and community engagement, Birdability empowers people of all abilities to experience the joy, connection, and discovery that birding offers.
By sharing knowledge, mapping accessible birding locations, and encouraging inclusive practices, Birdability is helping create a birding community where everyone feels welcome.
